The problem TOOLWATCH solves

Automotive and truck manufacturers invest in the molds their plastic part suppliers use. Those molds have a defined life — typically 10 years or 1,000,000 shots. Today the mold owner cannot see how many shots have been fired, whether maintenance was performed on time, or which machine the mold is currently mounted on. Every answer requires a phone call to the supplier or a site visit.

How it works

Instrument the mold

A TOOLWATCH sensor mounted on the mold counts every open-close cycle and records temperature and vibration signatures.

Connect the machine

A TOOLWATCH gateway reads machine state, cycle time and production counters over OPC-UA, Modbus or I/O.

Stream to the cloud

Data is buffered at the edge and streamed over TLS to the ZEQIO cloud, with automatic recovery after network loss.
